Alan G. Rurik
Chief Financial Officer & Principal – Mohr-Rurik Capital Group, Inc.

Mr. Rurik is a Co-founder and Principal of Mohr-Rurik Capital Group. The Capital Group is engaged primarily in the commercial mortgage banking and lending business throughout Central CA and the Western US. The Capital Group represents various local and national institutional lenders and has fostered significant investment in the Central California region. Mr. Rurik is an entrepreneur at heart and joined Gerald Mohr (now a 20 year Mortgage Banking veteran) at Union Bank in 1992 before founding the Capital Group in 1995. He has since coordinated several billion in finance transactions including construction, acquisition and permanent debt. He also is a loan closing specialist and administers a significant servicing portfolio and directs asset management & residential lending activities.

Mr. Rurik attended California State University Fresno graduating in 1989 Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration that included a concentration in marketing, law and ethics. After his undergraduate degree he continued his education at Santa Clara University obtaining a Masters degree (M.B.A.) graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1992 with an emphasis on Finance and Strategic Gaming. Alan has held a California Real Estate Brokers license for the previous decade and is also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, California Mortgage Bankers Association, International Business Association and Society for Business Ethics. Alan and his wife (Kathleen) are very active triathletes and marathoners in the community and actively support various fitness teams and organizations. He has participated in over half a dozen Ironman Triathlons and competes several times a year at other endurance events throughout the Western US.
